The Museum’s 45-acre campus is comprised of 39 buildings, 25 which are historic, and the 220-foot steamboat Ticonderoga. Fifteen buildings are fully handicap accessible and additional eight buildings have only first floor accessibility. The Pizzagalli Center for Arts and Education (handicap accessible) will have five exhibits on display: 1.) Sound, Art and Ink - Showcasing Higher Ground Gig Posters, 2.) Herd - Featuring Karen Petersen’s Bronze Horses, 3.) Dahlov Ipcar - Displaying Textile Patterns on Rugs and Soft Sculptures, 4.) Blueprint of a Collection - Cyanotype Photography by David Sokosh, 5.) Porcelain Love Letters - The Art of Mara Superior (painted plates), https://shelburnemuseum.org/exhibitions/upcoming/.
In addition, there are 22 gardens, and we’re hoping the lilacs will be in bloom! There is an 8-seat golf cart shuttle that makes a loop around the museum every 15 minutes. You can get on and off at different stops.
We will be having lunch at their café, the Weathervane. You can purchase lunch or bring your own.
The event is limited to 15 people.
Lamoille Neighbors will be paying the entrance fee. However, they do have a discounted rate if you have a valid Vermont ID. So, we are asking everyone to bring their ID with them.
