This workshop is designed to familiarize how to tell a story with prints. Monoprinting is a printmaking technique that creates a unique, one-of-a-kind image that can't be made more than once. A monoprint is basically a hand-printed painting. At the end of the class, you will have finished prints to display at the Closing Celebration.
Week 1: Introduction to the press and monotype basics
Week2: Making monotypes with plant forms and collage
Week 3: Two plate registration and printing directly on the plate
Week 4: Bringing it all together for final prints
